Lecture by Dr. Anna Cornelia Reinhardt on "Between heterogeneity and flexibilization - shaping individual paths into training and careers"

What young people have in common is that they are about to make the transition from school to
work. At the same time, they have different prerequisites, experiences
and strengths. This heterogeneity encompasses many different facets - from social
and cultural backgrounds to different educational paths and individual
interests and skills. Against the backdrop of the need for skilled workers,
this raises the question of how the diverse potential of young people can be
recognized and promoted.
After an expert impulse in which we develop a common understanding of heterogeneity
and its dimensions, we will take a look at
North Rhine-Westphalia together with you. Together with those involved in vocational
orientation and transition design, we will discuss how young people
can be individually supported in developing a career perspective
and where there is potential for further development.
