On the occasion of the 10th Dortmund Symposium on Empirical Educational Research, Aladin El-Mafaalani gave a lecture on the topic of "Kindheit im Wandel" – „Zur Neujustierung des Verhältnisses von Familie und Schule“.

On July 4, 2025, the Center for Research on Education and School Development (IFS) at TU Dortmund University hosted the tenth Dortmund Symposium on Empirical Educational Research and dedicated itself to the topic of "Education in transition: between technological innovation and social responsibility".

The event will present and discuss theoretical perspectives and current research findings on the opportunities and challenges of the education system in the area of conflict between technological innovation and social responsibility.
